Differential Transceiver - ELEC4602 (Microelectronics)
- Designing a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) digital transmitter-receiver pair using Cadence Virtuoso in the FreePDK 45nm CMOS process used in the course.
5.1 Surround Sound Audio Wearable - ELEC3117 (Electrical Engineering Design)
- Developed a working prototype for a 5.1 surround sound audio wearable.
- Designed an analog decoder which separates a stereo signal into six channels to be played by an array of speakers positioned around the head.
- Use of LTSpice and Altium Designer.
- Supports both bluetooth and wired connection using the ESP32.
Metal Detector - ELEC3106 (Electronics)
- Metal proximity detector utilizing an LC tank oscillator (Colpitts) and the voltage drop across an air coil due to eddy currents generated by nearby metal.
- Interfaced using an ATTiny45, servo motor and buttons.
Light and Music Controller - ELEC2141 (Digital Circuit Design)
- Identifying system inputs and outputs for the design of a Finite State Machine (FSM).
- Implementation of the model using various flip-flops, and Verilog HDL for verification.
Remote Health Monitoring System - ELEC2141 (Digital Circuit Design)
- Formulating truth tables and boolean functions following design specifications, optimizing using K-maps, implementing the circuit and verifying using Xilinx ISE.
Project NESE - ENGG1000 (Introduction to Engineering Design and Innovation)
- Developed a mechanical solution to perform contactless distribution of Emergency Supply Packs.
- Team was invited to present the prototype in the Design Showcase which was reserved for the top 10 teams.
